This excellent all year round wind venue to the South of Safaga fits perfectly the intensive coaching programme of FOXY WIND kiteboarding events. Together with a team of IKO-certified trainers you will spend 6 days on the water so that you can be coached in a targeted manner and progress quickly. Anyone who is not yet a keen rider can simply sit back and enjoy the sight of the coast – peaceful, uncrowded and wild.

Set Up, Landing & Launching Area
40 x 170 metres without any obstacles
Water Training Area
Beginners friendly: 70-100 x 400 m lagoon protected by a sand bar with flat water. At low tide the area behind the sand bar is used as a training area
Free Riding Area
A huge area of about 750 meters deep into the sea is protected by a vast reef that means that at various states of tide it features excellent flat water, making it nearly ideal for riding, learning or tricks. And best of all, even if there are a few more riders than normal, since the area is huge, there is guaranteed space for everyone.
Sea Bottom
Predominantly with hard smooth sand so riding barefoot is no problem
Tides
The lagoon is suitable for kiting even at low tide. At low tide a short walk out to the sand bar takes you onto beautifully flat deeper water.
Upon your arrival to the airport you will be brought to our camp venue and your holiday will be just one hour away from you! It’s not a problem if you arrive early or late, just inform us in advance. You will choose how to spend time until everybody arrives: we can take you to a spot for kiting or to chill in a café in Hurghada. On the way to the camp we can stop by a supermarket in Safaga to buy anything you need..
