Our Hurricane Take-off kitesurfing course is taught on 1-2-1 basis (1 student, 1 instructor).

MINIMUM AGE: 12 years

FITNESS LEVEL: occasionally sporty

REQUIRED SKILLS: skills of IKO Level 1 (or equivalent) or boarding skills and be able to swim and stay afloat for at least 15 min

TEACHING AIDS: radio

LEARNING GOAL: to master the wind power, become a confident safe kite pilot on water, to reach at least the steady pull.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: piloting, launching & landing a kite on water.

EXTRA LEARNING OBJECTIVES: water start, riding short distances and controlled stop.

CERTIFICATION LEVEL: IKO Level 1. In case of successful mastering of the extra course objectives, IKO Level 2.

Your instructor will evaluate your skills throughout the course and adapt the lesson programme. If you already have some of the skills above Level 2 we will start at your current level and work on Level 3. You’ll learn as much as you can possibly handle during this intensive course. Certificate is given on the level achieved.

If you come to realise that you have overestimated your ability to learn kiting quickly or take a decision to keep learning, you can choose a longer course to continue and pay the difference.
